Google

Google Web Search

Search tips for Google:

        PHRASES (" ")

  • Use phrases in quotes or Google will search for the words separately.
  • eg. "Air Pollution";  Air Pollution will search for the word Air and Pollution separately, not as a phrase.

        AND

  • Google automatically inserts "AND" between your terms, unless you tell it otherwise.
  • Water Pollution will be searched by Google as Water AND Pollution. "Water Pollution" will retrieve less but more relevant content.

        OR

  • Separate synonyms with "OR" to maximise best results.
  •  "Population" OR "Community"
